Rann Utsav celebrates in the Dhordo village of Kutch which is 85 km from Bhuj. This district is famous for its various cultural traditional shopping activities at Rann Utsav like - Authentic Handicraft Items, Bandini Sarees, Traditional Ornaments & many more items which give you wow experience.

Before the Rann Utsav begins, a couple of hundred luxury tent accommodations are created for Indian and foreign tourists. So, if you are planning to witness this festival, we recommend you to book well in advance.

The festival is held between Nov to March each year (as the evenings are cooler during that time of the year). The Rann Utsav takes place during the full moon. So dates to watch for this year would be 12 - 13 - 14 - January 2025, 11 - 12 - 13 - February 2025 and 13 - 14 - 15 - March 2025.

The attraction of the Rann Utsav is that the audience is limited to those who have booked the tent accommodation. Also, there is no stage. The audience therefore can get close and personal with the artists. Talk to the performers, get to know them, their life and culture.
