This folk festival is organized around the 2nd week of January each year and held jointly by the Goa Art & Culture and the Udaipur, Kala Academy.

A large number of folk groups from Goa perform various Goan folk dances like Ganesh Vandana, Kunbi, Jagor, Dekhani, Veerbhadra, Tonya Khel, Mussal, Lamp Dance, Dhangar Dance, Ghodemodni, Goff, Mando, Talgadi, Morulo etc.

The artists from other states too perform the folk dances such as Mangniy Kalbelia, Bhavai, Chari Nrutya and Bahurupia. The Bihu is performed by Assam artists. Mewasi, Siddhi Dhamal & Garba from Gujarat. Pung Dhol Cholam, Thangta by dancers from Manipur, Purulia Chhau, Natua Nrutya and Raibenshe West Bengal. 

The state of Maharashtra perform Lawni and Powada. Gotipua from Odisha, Dheendhiya from Uttar Prac Dholukunitha from Karnataka. Total around 600 folk artists showcase their talent during this mega festival.
